S8201B actuators is mainly used to close or open the pipes of underfloor heating system for the purpose of controlling room temperature. The electric thermostatic actuators and valve body are connected by thread. The actuators can match with manifold valves, small valves, dynamic balance valve and other electric driving parts. Advantages are as follows: flexible assembly, convenience, reliable performance, durability, energy saving, environmental protection. This product can control the temperature of residential buildings, shopping malls, hotels and offices.

Operating Principle:

The electric thermostatic actuators install on the hot water valves, and the valve is closed or opened by the electric heat wax sensor inside actuators. When the actuators do not work, the valve is normally closed. When it works, the thermostat will provide a signal to connect the thermostatic actuators to the power supply, and the thermostatic actuators moves upward. The valve reset spring opens the valve, and hot water enters the fan coil or heat ex-changer to provide heating for the room. When the room temperature reaches the set value of the thermostat, the thermostat cuts off the electric thermostatic actuators. The reset spring of the electric thermostatic actuators resets the actuators, and the valve closes, thus preventing hot water from entering the fan coil or heat ex-changer. Close and open the valve so that the room temperature is always within the temperature range set by the thermostat.

Installation note

Connect the electric thermostatic actuators to the valve through thread and hand. Do not use tools.

Electric thermostatic actuators can be divided into two types: normally open type and normally closed type, as shown in figure 1.
